ALZCARE assists families throughout the United States in finding the best possible placement for their loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Through an extensive interview process we create a Prospective Resident Profile. This Profile presents a comprehensive overview of the prospective resident’s medical condition, care needs, behavioral issues, amenities desired, finances and more.

This Profile is what we share with the appropriate care facilities in the ALZCARE Assisted Living Alliance (AALA). The AALA is a partnership between quality facilities and ALZCARE. The purpose of this partnership is to see that each person with a dementing illness that we help receives the best care and quality of life possible. In the AALA we understand and agree that by putting the client first our businesses will grow and thrive. We benefit to the degree that we benefit our clients.

Is your assisted living level care facility a good candidate for AALA? Perhaps you think your facility too small, or not “specialized” enough or in some way out of place in AALA. To join with us we focus on the quality of care and the quality of life you offer to people with dementing illnesses.

Naturally, we work with many Special Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care Units (SCU’s) around the country. But we recognize that the majority of people with dementing illnesses do not go to SCU’s when placed. Most are cared for in Assisted Living Care Homes that provide excellent care but which are not “Special Care Units”. Some clients need a small homelike setting, others prefer a larger community. We welcome all assisted living homes and communities that focus on quality of care and life We look forward to working with you and your facility to help our clients become your well cared for residents.
