One of the great challenges in the placement process is dealing with conflicting priorities and needs. We want a home that is close by, gives great care at a low price and we need it yesterday! In truth there are about half-a-dozen key criteria in finding the right care home (timeline, location, price, services, etc.) and each of these represent priorities that may conflict with the other priorities. Do you sacrifice location to get price? Is quality of care always the top priority? At ALZCARE a significant part of our work is helping our clients clarify the priorities, identify possible conflicts and assisting you in sorting out the best alternatives. Put another way, our job is often to be in the role of telling the hard truth: The truth about what can or cannot be done within a timeline, location or price range…the truth about the services that are or are not available.
